ABOUT

As a mother of three, with two of my children being deaf, I’ve always understood the critical role that our senses play in learning and development. When my children were born deaf, I made it a priority to find ways to support their growth through innovative and engaging methods. I discovered that visual and tactile stimuli, such as toys that light up and move, were particularly effective in capturing their attention and enhancing their learning experience. After returning to the classroom, I saw firsthand how preschool children could greatly benefit from sensory activities, which help them explore and understand the world around them. This reinforced my belief in the importance of sensory engagement for every child, as each sense contributes uniquely to their learning and interaction. Motivated by this insight, I decided to open a sensory shop, aiming to provide other families with a curated selection of tools designed to stimulate and engage children through sight, touch, and motion. My goal is to create a space where every child can thrive, experiencing the world through their own sensory lenses, and where parents can find resources tailored to their unique needs.
